Easy Homemade Pasta Recipe

Pasta is a type of Italian food made from wheat flour and water. It is usually formed into various shapes and then cooked by boiling. Pasta is a staple food of traditional Italian cuisine, and is also widely consumed around the world. There are many different types of pasta, including spaghetti, macaroni, linguine, and fettuccine, among others. Pasta can be served with a variety of sauces, such as marinara, Alfredo, or carbonara, and is often garnished with cheese, herbs, or other ingredients. Pasta is a versatile food that can be used in a variety of dishes, from simple pasta salads to more complex, multi-ingredient dishes.


Here is a simple recipe for homemade pasta:

Ingredients:

a. 2 cups all-purpose flour

b. 3 large eggs


Instructions:

1: Mound the flour on a clean work surface and make a well in the center. Crack the eggs into the well.

2: Using a fork, beat the eggs and gradually incorporate the flour from the inside rim of the well. As the dough comes together, use your hands to gently knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.

3:Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

4: Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Working with one piece at a time and keeping the others covered, roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/8 inch thick.

5: Cut the pasta into the desired shape (such as fettuccine or spaghetti).

6: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 2-3 minutes for fresh pasta or according to the package instructions for dried pasta.

7: Drain the pasta and serve with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
