Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium bananas)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and mashed bananas, and mix until well combined.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

  5. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
